That is exactly what the Research Center brings to our patients. The Mission of the Jacksonville Heart Research Center is to invest in the development of new therapies to ensure the highest quality of care for our current and future generation of patients.

All research studies conducted at Jacksonville Heart Research Center are reviewed by the U.S. government's Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and your safety is our number one priority.

Research is an important step toward a better, safer world, and it is necessary for ensuring a better and safer future for our children and grandchildren. Every day, research uncovers new information about medical conditions and possible therapies. Your involvement in clinical studies could help develop new medications, learn to use available medicines more effectively, and possibly improve your health.

What our Patients say about Jacksonville Heart Research Center:

Rovena Kennison: I have participated in 3 trials with Jacksonville Heart Center and each time I have been very happy with the fact that the possibility exists to not only help myself but maybe other people. I have received great care and attention fromall the research staff and I look forward to participating inmany other future trials.

Tom Foppiano: I will admit that I was a little reluctant to be in a "drug research" program but everything was explained so completely and professionally that I was in. I can't say enough nice things about all of the research staff; they have assisted with scheduling appointments, explained medical questions; and countless other courtesies too numerous to mention. Jacksonville Heart Research is a bright spot for the future!

Mildred O'Neal: On my very first visit to the Research Center I encountered the most friendly and professional staff. I began to look forward to my visits to the clinic, not as a chore, but as a pleasure, strictly because of the staff and their professional, caring instincts. They seem to have a "healing" power on those they care for. It wasmy extreme pleasure, andmy personal gain, to have been involved with the Jacksonville Heart Research Team. Anyone referred to this center will experience the same gentle, caring touch of these people's conviction to their research study. They are a blessing to our medical community.
