A Word From Our Medical Director of Research Dr. Carlos Sotolongo

At Jacksonville Heart Center our physicians have been committed to working today for a better tomorrow through research for over 15 years.

We understand that patients with Heart Disease may experience a sense of hopelessness and despair and feel that participating in Research can give that patient an opportunity to use their medical condition to help other people while working towards a cure.

Our Research Center staff is composed of research certified registered and licensed nurses that work exclusively with the patients in our FDA approved trials. Their number one priority is to work with our patients to ensure that their experience in a research trial is a safe and satisfactory one.
